I imagine the 800 minute call was started before the nightime free rates went into effect. If your free evenings start at 8pm and make a call at 7:59, the whole call is charged at the normal rate because the call originated BEFORE 8pm. It doesn't automatically change over to the free rate at 8, you would have to hang up and start the call over to get the free rate. Those ungrateful witches need to lose the phones pronto!

i myself am 19 going onto 20 and don't have a cell phone. not because Mom took it away, but because i never wanted one in the first place. too busy to have one and they're too expensive for me to pay for. i would NEVER let anyone pay my phone bill, it's my responsibility not anyone else's.
kids should be working at that (my) age, I'm busy working to pay for my chickens because they are in fact -my- chickens. i paid for and am still paying for them.
