Has anyone ever used these?

ive bought 3 new hens a few days ago & one of the new ones is being picked on.
someone mentioned these as it still allows the chicken to eat & drink but not cause any harm to the newbie.
ive bought a few and would like to try them today as the newbie is living in my back garden at the moment in a make shift house.

I see something similar discussed here now and then, and es, people use them, esp. for birds other than chickens. They are usually called "peepers" here; it's just another brand I'm sure. You could try a search for "peepers."

well, the instructions i got with them ar enot thegreatest but basically, the "bit" (the wavey piece in the middle) fits insude the birds beek very much like a horses thingy ma bob(sorry, dont know a thing about horses).
the botom beak fits thru the gap & the prongs at the top fit into the nostrils.

I've found this website : http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22584

which
sells them & has a picture to show you.
