Using a dropper with chicks?

Can someone tell me how you use a medicine dropper safely with a 3 week old chick? Sorry if that’s a dumb question, but they’re obviously not happy participants in the process and I don’t want to hurt them.

I have bloody droppings in the brooder and it’s getting worse. Started Corid in their water but feel I should give a drench as well. Just not sure how. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Just give 3 to 4 drops to each chick once daily for 3 to 5 days. Touch the drop to the side of the beak where the upper and lower beaks meet and let it wick into their mouths. They will swallow it. Good luck.
