Ok, so making this thread early, so I can have the info when I need it, lol.

Basically, I have a broody hen with 7 eggs under her. Unfortunately, there is up to a 6 day difference between some of the eggs. I expect the hen to stop laying on the eggs when the first chicks hatch ( oldest eggs)

I have a LG incubator in my basement that I have never used. I plan on getting it ready on the 18th day ( that is for the older eggs) so that if she leaves the younger eggs, I can put them in the incubator to finish hatching, and hopefully give them back to her. Question is

1: How do you calibrate a thermometer, and hygrometer?
2: what temp does it need to be?
3: what should the humidity be for hatching eggs?
4: should I be able to integrate them back to her??
5: If you have any more advice, please let me know! thanks!

Anyone?
