use these for our 2 outside half wild 'barn' cats when it's cold, & got the idea to pop a couple into the coop with the 8 weeks olds--I wrap it in newspaper. Works great!

We don't have electricity out there & it's too far from the house to run cords for a heat lamp. It was 30 degrees here this morning but all chicks were warm & happy.

Found these several years ago at the PetSmart store here--above link is just to provide info if anyone is interested.
 
that really looks neat. I think I will check the pet store here. Maybe today I can get out. Its been snowing in NC. off and on for two days. It might help the poor wild cat that sleeps on my covered deck. I feel so sorry for them. there are 4 altogether that are feral. Wish they could have seperate homes and someone to tame them. they are pretty fluffy grayish long haired ones. Jean
