Using an automatic turner for duck eggs?

I'm going to set some muscovey eggs in a couple of days - my first time incubating duck eggs! I have read a few things about turning duck eggs by hand vs using an automatic turner...which is better, or does it matter? And if you turn by hand, why?

I had my 'scovies in the egg turner. I had a pretty good hatch rate.
It worked for me.
