I'm using a 7*5' shed as my coop. I have these two branches which I "freed" from a pile of wood in the garden... can I use them as perches?

The straight one is 1.5 inches in diameter at the thinner end and 2.25 inches in diameter at the thicker end, the wonky one is 2.25inches in diameter all the way down. They'd be permenantly fixed to the shed walls at about 4' off the floor so there's room for cleaning underneath.

Here is how I attached tree limbs so I can easily remove them if I need to. Drill holes in the limb and the support and use a large nail to hold them in place. That thicker end will take a pretty big nail and you’ll need a pretty long bit.

Here is a shot of them using the limbs. My tree limbs are about the same size as yours. They sleep all along them, some preferring the thicker parts and some the thinner. I got mine after an ice storm many years ago. I normally have two but was only using one when this shot was taken. As you can see one of mine is pretty wonky too.
