I read some where here that you can use a broody hen to help with pheasant eggs. Do I need to keep here separate from the pheasants? I am trying to avoid an incubator.

Yes you can use bantams for setting on pheasant eggs.Yes they can not be with or near the adults.Make sure wherever you put the bantam with pheasant eggs in a pen with absolutely no holes. As soon as they see something they will scatter and may not be seen again,so a hole proof pen is a must.Don't forget chick waters too or they will jump in and drownd.
