Using chain link panels

I have several chain link panels I would like to use to make a run. They are 6' tall if I wrap connecting panel joints and wrap bottom with 24" tall 1/2" hardware cloth will this work? Do I need to cover top if so what should I use. I'm thinking of a 12'x24' run. I will be shutting them up at night. Thanks

Works great. We made ours 6 x 20 with chainlink panels. I used deer netting for the top to keep out raptors.

We used chain link panels when we built our pen last year. We put hardware cloth on the bottom and bird netting on top. So far. So good.
