Hello 👋
I am hoping y'all can help me understand the use of this product. I made a trip to Tractor Supply today & picked up some essentials for my girls.
Now, I haven't noticed mites YET but I was curious if I need to use this as a preventative or do I wait until I see signs of mites?!?
I attached a photo of the bag I got today.
Have you used this product & What seems to work for you as far as mites?

Thanks in advance! ❤

I use Permethrin Dust, it's an actual insecticide that has no egg withdrawal period.

Diatomaceous earth doesn't do anything for lice, or mites.

Do I need to treat my entire lawn or is just treating the coop & chickens beneficial enough? My girls are pretty much free range during the day. (Confined to my yard)
I wouldn't use an insecticide in your lawn, it'll kill the ants, the bees, & other insects.

Just on your birds, in the coop, & run.

Thanks for your help! 😃
