I have just spent several hours along with my son daughter-in-law and hubby cleaning out the coop right down to the boards because of the ducks dumping the water bowls constantly...needless to say all was soaked! so I got to thinking about a way to resolve this issue. I thought that if I hung a section of eaves trough on the wall (on hooks so its removable for cleaning) that would provide enough water for the chickens and ducks...has anyone tried this before?
Let me know!

Oh and I do have those hangable waterers but they seem to go dry all the time even though there is alot of water still in the reservoir! ( and yes I do have the thing twisted on the right way!) so I have given up on these expensive and useless things!!!
