Hi there. I have a new EcoGlow50 from Brinsea and am using the spare bathroom shower for my week old chicks. My question is has anyone used this brooder heater below the recommended 50degrees ambient room temp? I would like to move the babies out to the garage brooder but the garage is unheated so temps will be below recommended ambient overnight. Thoughts?

I haven't used them but everyone I know that has said they don't work below 50. Not sure why but it seems they may work for older chicks but I wouldn't guarantee it nor deviate from the recommendations in the instructions.
