Using Egg Cartons to hold Eggs while Incubating?

I believe in incubators like the lg that they tilt the whole incubator

I guess that would work also but as long as you dont tilt to much and water flow out of the reservoir.

Well i needed to turn eggs anyways so I went ahead and set them in the carton and tilted the whole incubator because when i tried to just tilt the carton inside it was almost against the coil. Should have I cut the bottom out the carton some so air can come up threw the bottom as well?

it is advised to cut holes in the bottom of the carton
