Using me for napkin??

What is the deal with my chicks wiping their beaks on me? It's so cute, but what's the reason behind it? I mean, I know they're trying to clean themselves after eating, but why on me?? My mother had a rooster friend years ago that after he ate, he'd go to her and wipe his beak on her shoes, then walk away. What's the deal? Marking you as their territory?

They do it to my potbelly pig too. She seems to enjoy it.

My sweet little runt will hop up on my leg and wipe her beak on my shorts. It's like she's marking me as hers, maybe?

My shorts are cotton. But she'll do it to my leg, and even my socks. I will admit that my chickens are an odd bunch.

Mine seem to prefer me to just about anything else to wipe their dirty beaks on

I guess it's good in that they clearly trust me
