I am thinking of getting some Silkie eggs for my Buff beauty (Freedom) to set on. She is currently with my black Silkie rooster(Vader) but has not laid yet. Will she automatically go broody if I put some eggs in there? I have read that silkies are great incubators. Will she get the idea and lay some of her own eggs also?

thanks
Chris

She has laid and hatched some babies before. Just not yet for me. Was just wondering if they can be made to go broody or not.
