Using permethrin around peachicks

I am planning to spray my peafowl houses with permethrin. One of the houses contain a peahen with her 3 week old peachick.
I assume the peachick will have no adverse reactions to the permethrin spray but thought I would throw this out for comment.
I hate to find out the hard way that I should not have assumed anything. Is it okay to move forward with the permethrin spray?

Depending on how much dust you are going to put in the air I would run all the birds out until you are done. It is safe for dusting birds but I don't like the idea of them breathing it.
