VENTILATION! (of course you know I'd say that, right? ;) )

I don't remember if you're in the Tennessee mountains or in the warmer parts, but in the warmer areas the easiest way to put ventilation in, given the complete lack of roof overhangs, would be to turn the back to the prevailing winter wind then pull the siding off the other end and replace it with wire.
 
A hole saw could add more ventilation around the top then use some flashing to protect from rain.

It's hard to add multiple square feet of ventilation 7 square inches at a time (approximate area of a 3" diameter hole). :)
