Lisa, as mentioned above, if the tape is crimped even a little it can cause the scanner to be unable to read the bar code. The warning about taping over the bar code is for just that reason. I am very careful when I tape the label on the package so it has not wrinkles or crimps and they go through fine. If you use only the free Deliver Confirmation, they only post when the package is delivered. It is not the same as a tracking number.
