Utah!

After I posted the pictures I heard my little dog come in the doggy door and them he started screaming bloody murder, I went running in and found him in the kitchen holding his leg out at a funny angle. I scooped him up and took him to the vet, He has rebroken his leg and now has another cast on. He just got his cast off last week, While we were gone I boarded him at the vets so he could rest his leg with the cast off. I feel sooo bad, The orthopedic surgeon happened to be there and said that where he is breaking it would make his leg very hard to pin but if he breaks it again he would try to plate or pin it as the other alternative is amputation poor baby

Lisa- I did miss your post. I think I'll pass. They are so cute though... Ahhh... But I think I want to save my space for sizzles... I've been wanting them forever... My chickens never produced me any. Thanks though... I'm loving my polish I did get... They love being on my shoulders. :)

Ok sounds good, I just got the ad on KSL :) I do like these little guys...the Silver laced that you have is one of the cutest, I really think that one is a girl. Would love to see pics as they grow up on here if you can do it!

On the other hand, man Diana, that poor dog! It has been through so much. I sure hope pinning will help. I'm sure you already know, that dogs can get around pretty easily with just three legs, best part about this little guy is just that ~ he's little, and not a big dog. Easier on small dogs. That has to be horrible for him to have to go through that pain time after time. You have done so much for that baby. What commitment, I love that, having rescued dogs, I know what goes into taking care of the ones that need a lot of attention. You worry so much over them. Good luck.

We went to visit a town called Oatman. It was basically a ghost town that wild burro's took up residence in its streets. Now there are shops and restaurants on the main street. They all sell food (hay cubes) for the burros. The foals that are too young for the cubes they put signs on the foreheads not to feed. They are wild and come and go, They come to town at 900 Am give or take and leave at 500pm give or take there are about 12 mares and one jack. 9 babies, Very interesting. The hotel bar has dollar bills all over the wall. It was a big mining tradition to put a dollar bill on the bar wall with your name on it. Tourist have kept up the tradition. Its crazy.
I'm going to be in Phoenix at the end of the month. That looks like a blast! I love ghost towns and burros - perfect :)
