Utah!

My showgirls didn't get the neck thing. Try baby oil or coconut oil  They look like velociraptors

Ha! They do! But they are much sweeter thank goodness. They just follow me around the tub, I move, they move it is pretty cute. They like to be held, but do not like to be apart so I have to hold all three together. They like to lay in my hand on their backs and have their bellies rubbed. I will try some baby oil :) They just seem dry, maybe from the dry air and heat lamp. It peels right off, but shows up again a day or two later. Their skin is definitely turning blacker on all of them, but one still has pink toes :)

Madchicken your place would be great for one of these, you have other chicks to keep one company :) I really want to keep only one, but the trio makes it hard to separate them. So I need to keep two for now until my other chicks hatch. So there is a third up for grabs, a paint ;)

Lisa, those babies are sooo cute! I love the one that is mostly white, it has great feathering on the front. Peeling? hmmm....I agree with Sundance, put some oil on those little necks. My guess it's fine, they are just growing up. Can't wait to see these older!

Lisa those showgirls are awfully cute (for showgirls). They look like they'll be STUNNINGLY beautiful when they grow up. That hawk really is huge.

Hattie, how are those babies coming? I had to log in before bed to check in on them.

Sundance, I sure hope your hen makes it. That's got to be heartbreaking to watch her go through that. My oldest daughter has to do a big project for her IB program at school. She loooooooves owls, and is thinking she wants to do something for the rescue. I told her we'd call them tomorrow and try to arrange a tour and see if they have any ideas for a project. Right now's she a guinea pig for a science experiment her friend is doing on sleep deprivation- 48 hours without sleep. Her friend originally wanted it to be 72 hours, but I flat out refused. The experiment will end at 8am tomorrow, and then I'll take her home and let her (attempt) to sleep. I told my 12 year old that he could have some friends over to watch the Batman movies back to back. Our movie room is right next to her room, so I'm pretty sure it won't be very quiet.

You people are awesome!! I love how friendly everyone is and helpful, too.. it's really amazing to me=)

Hattie...can't wait to hear how your hatch goes... I put mine in lockdown tomorrow night... getting nervous about it, too, lol, I'm down to 14 now, we'll see how many make it to lockdown, eek!

Cute chick pics, love the one of the silkie mom, madchicken, and yes, Lisa, I think those chicks look like ostriches, too=)

Love the pictures! It's late and I am tired but I can hear chirping. The pips are the same but I know there will be action tonight. It will be a long night making sure the humidity stay up.

Lisa...I know which one I want already. But I bet you want the same one. They are allll sooo cute! My little Sweets..Sweet Pea, the Favorelle..needs someone her size. She's my only bantam now. I love those Silkies to death, I just wish they wouldn't go broody so often. Hoping it's true what we hear about the showgirls..maybe I can try one..and it won't be a boy. Man, I would have kept that partridge that Sundance gave me though if it were a girl. Had tried all year to get one, then I get one that gorgeous, and of course, it's a pretty orange because it's a boy. He's going to be beautiful..Melissa is lucky she can have the boys.
I will have babies by the 4th and the 7th. So, one of the showgirls will have co. until she can go out. They are all she's don't ya know!

Cynthia you crack me up! Ok so which one do you like the most? the one with no spots so far?
or one of the two paints? There is the one with the spot above its left eye, and the one that has less yellow.
