They are due on the 21st. All of my shipments had bad air cells & many got tossed due to lack of developing after being so scrambled but hers are doing really well. Her eggs are now my only hope for Marans. I have 5 SBELs in lockdown & looking great and 6 or 7 BBS Marans in lockdown. Not quite 50% but considering the air cells I am pleased. One of the other shipments I ended up with only 1 out of 22 eggs & with my luck....it will be a boy

. No Tolbunt polish came even close. I would absolutely buy from DMRippy again. I liked the way she packaged the best By Far!

Good to know I hope I can have as good of luck as you have had with hers Mine will arrive any day. So you are getting to lockdown already, seems like that went so fast! My DH just called. Again. He is in SLC, went to IFA before the game and called to see if I wanted NN. I resisted. I already have some coming in my chick order, I can wait two weeks, right?? I was so proud! He called again after the game, he was at IFA again. So I caved and got another Delaware and he wanted another Jap bantam...we lost one last year that was "his". So much for being Awesome, huh Red?? Haha I suck so bad.

Lisa, I've come perilously close several times to caving and getting more birds. It really doesn't help that so many people on here like to hatch/order such beautiful breeds, either. Like BLRW's or lavender Orps, ahem

Or any kind of Orpington. I'm a sucker for the huge, fluffy ones.

Now I need to go cuddle my Wyandottes.

Stay away from Michelle's house then! Hee hee. Seriously, I admire your strength. I guess, at least, I can say there are worse things to be addicted to, right? I will be a slave to tiny waterers full of shavings all day long, it keeps me (too) busy. You just wait til your "test hatch" hatches lol then you will keep them all after you fall inlove with them and THEN you will fall from grace missy!

I am finally home. It was really hard to come to that white stuff on the lawn. My chickens were thrilled to see me. The house sitter didn't let them out at all while I was gone. I also picked up the 5 Seramas I had purchased. I thought they were coming Sunday afternoon but the arrived at the cat show Sunday afternoon. They are incredibly beautiful I am in Love. We had them in a box and they were nicley quiet that night them we woke up Sunday morning turned on the lights and in 2 seconds the rooster started to crow. I threw a coat over the box to make it dark so he shut up. We packed up our stuff and went to the cat show, Since we had to check out of our hotel we took the chickens and dogs to the cat show with us. They were so much fun. We had a new cat judge that this show was her first official judging assignment. We gave her a hard time all day. When she went to lunch we put all five chickens in Her judging cages. When she came back she was expecting more cats instead she got chickens and one of them was crowing up a storm. it was hysterical. We made her judge the chickens. Afte that everyone wanted to hold the chickens and the chickens loved it, These birds are sweet and probably the most beautiful I have seen. I will get some pictures and post them soo, I am not sure I can get the pictures to do them justice. I have a white rooster, a chocolate hen, a black frizzle hen with white spots, A buff frizzle hen, She has the most unique coloration almost looks blue and last a partridge frizzle hen, I wasn;t planning on getting that last one but she brought her for me to see and I purchased her as well. I am really tired but happy to be home.

I cannot wait to see them, they sound adorable! Glad you are home safe. We need to find "no vacancy" neon lights to put on our coops. I doubt that would stop the madness, but maybe ...?
