Utah!

Oh man, I should not do it, I really should not, I took a walk around the house, I tried to take ten deep breaths, all that. But I am going to say yes lol I have got to chill on the ornamentals so I have room for my showgirls but I really really really like the Houdans. Will you send her with Sasha today, hopefully they will all fit in there with her. I had forgotten you had those this Spring! Thank you so much Diana! I will gladly pay you for her, will send it to you with the Chickie money. I super love their temperament. Ok now do not tempt me further the seat of my chicken pants is bursting open at the seams.

Diana is sending chicks to me to sell for her, if not before then they are going to Chickenstock with me. I will post pics tomorrow if anybody wants to buy one. Blue egg layer mom's with a Sizzle Rooster, they will be fun babies. Please oh please buy them up before I fall in love and keep the whole lot. She said some are starting to frizz.

I have a Houdan cockerel up for grabs if anyone wants him...he is headed to chickenstock if no takers on here.....

That's an impressive egg!

Thanks, it is a quarter pounder, woohoo! Came from one of the girls I got from you. I took your advice and put them both on a little diet, boot camp, chased them around the yard a bit, got them up and moving. A little cayenne pepper in their feed yesterday, maybe that made her blast this one out lol I feel bad for her! I don't know if any of that stuff really did it, but I will say it definitely did not hurt anything. The other one has laid three in the last 4 days also, the really dark layer, and this one laid this one as her first in awhile. The spots on this one's eggs are usually really big, they must be stretched out this time haha :D Hopefully good things to come.

Nice egg Lisa..fun when they start laying again. And, when I got my Welsummer egg, I think I was as excited as getting my very first egg. I waited a long time for her to start.

I have Houdans coming the first part of May. :D All girls..10 of them. Hoping I can sell some of those! Plus, 4 brown leghorns. Love the leghorns don't I? I have too many chickens.

I am not so sure about that...I have 2 nest boxes for my main coop and have never had more than 1 hen in the nestbox. ...Went out to feed tonight and found 2 in each box and another trying to figure out how to get in. I think I either need to get more boxes or thin out the herd. Especially since I have more to go out. and eggs coming....My silky rooster has 5 extra hens with him but they are not laying yet. He takes very good care of the young girls and will not breed them, I think he knows they are too young. I love watching him teach them how to scratch and peck at the grass.
