What was the site to buy the denegard?
I think I bought mine through Valley Vet supply. Check around for the best prices and shipping. Several places sell it.

Does anyone have some fertile eggs. No mixed breeds and only LF. (except Silkie eggs, but bearded only please). My Australorp has gone broody.
Mad, I have bunches but think I may be a ways for you to go. I'm in Duchesne. I have pure Barred Hollands, Welsummers, Black Australorps and Orpingtons (I just threw my Blue hen and Black hen in with the Buffs a couple days ago so the eggs may not be pure Buffs. I'm moving Orps around and just didn't have enough mature Blues and Blacks yet for their own mature coop/run. When I decide to gather pure Buffs I'll remove the Blue and Black hens). Just let me know a couple days in advance as I also sell eating eggs and need to fill those orders first.

Okay, so I have eggs pipping and hatching!!!!
ya.gif
My English Orp eggs have all hatched... 100% for those.

The Barred Hollands have hatched out two and have another three pipping.

(Think I have enough of these!! People don't know what these are here and won't buy them
sad.png
)

The Black Australorps are anxious to all hatch.... have pips throughout the hatch

.

Have one Welsummer that has hatched, another couple pipping.

This is another breed that the locals have no clue about!! Not going to be hatching more for awhile... have plenty chicks.

Even have 2 guineas that are pipping
big_smile.png
. These I can't keep.... sell fast!!! Even when I price them HIGH!!

This looks to be a great hatch!!!!
wee.gif

Tomorrow is vaccination day!!! The older chicks in the big brooders need to go to one of two juvenile coops/runs. (The older chicks and juveniles get their booster vaccinations tomorrow too.) All the new chicks born older than 4 days up to 3 weeks get vaccinated and moved to brooder bins or one of the big brooders....YAY!!! They are so much easier in the big brooders!!! All these new babies will be going into the new hatched brooders...... busy, busy, busy!!!

great thanks for the information. I definitely want some on hand.

Casa, With all the happy news just wanted to let you know my GLW passed today. Of course I blame myself
hit.gif
. Last night I let DH help me with chores (which NEVER happens!!!) and I got sidetracked and forgot to water her. She was right next to her water dish this morning.... that sight will stay with me for awhile
sad.png
. I know she was past rebounding from her onset of heat exhaustion, but she was a favorite and so sweet. I'm glad I didn't have to help her pass, as I was quickly getting to that point, after seeing her yesterday morning.

That makes two I've now lost to the heat
sad.png
. (My neighbor has lost two also... both older hens). DH was complaining how much water I was using to cool the coops/runs, so yesterday I didn't run the water but a few minutes..... guess I now realize just how much it did cool the coops/runs.

Have to think of the happy, healthy little critters just busting to get outta those shells!!!

I'm so sorry that happened. This heat has been brutal!

Brian... I have Welsummer chicks for sell. I have 3 that are almost 3 weeks old, have 1 week old chicks and now newly hatched.

My roo and his 5 wives have a super high fertility rate.... all but one chick has hatched out big and super healthy. That one came from a small egg that I should have never incubated (I know that now... learning experience).

I would love some 1 week old. They could go with the other 1week olds I got a few days ago
