Utah!

Oh man! Karen you had a crazy storm..soooo sorry to hear about all the flooding. I cannot imagine going through that. So sorry about the losses! Dang!

Ok, the 2000.00 chicken is in my head now. It looks like a statue, I love it! We need to get some people on here with a trio and sell some chicks, yes??

I went to go visit with diana yesterday and had a great time while I was there. I love time spent with diana she's an amazing lady. Glad she is home and seems to be doing better. She wanted ne to take a picture and post it on here of her molting chicken. It was so funny to hear her talk about it.

Cynthia and I got some seramas and both got a rooster. They are a fun kittle bunch! Thanks diana for getting me hooked ok the serama roosters lol:) can't wait for my frizzle to get of breeding age, I think the serama and frizzle would make super cute babies..
Karen, sorry about your chicks! Hopefully that one will still make it. That rain was horrible and parts of my house flooded. When I was at cynthias her street was becoming a road river.. not fun. Hope everyone has a great day and hopefully it will stay a little dry out there today.

If anybody is coming out my way (Paul, ID), I have the following available: Wheaten ameraucana pullets, one pair of jubilee orpingtons, one blue orpington pullet, one golden cuckoo marans pullet (laying), bantam calico cochin cockerals, trio of bantam cochins, and wheaten and blue wheaten ameraucana cockerals.

I love those black chickens. I can't bear to spend what the going rate is on them though. :-/ My offer is still open to try hatching them for you, Canebirds.

Silly, I am so sorry about losing your chick to the flood. It looks like Utah County was really hit hard over the weekend.

Sundance, I'm really glad you're home from the hospital. I think there really is no place like home.

I loved the company. The picture I asked Brian to take is of my sizzle girl. She is moulting and is bald on her head and neck. She looks like a vulture, She is straggley and pathetic. it was so nice to have company. It had rained hard but by the time Brian arrived it had stopped and was nice.

Paul is in the Burley/Rupert area in Idaho. During the spring I have a lot of Utah visitors. This time of year I'm out here all by myself, though. LOL

Busy busy busy! Getting ready to clean out the old barn and start building my chick brooding pens. My breeders will be in there this winter while my old coop is rebuilt. I don't know where I'm going to put all these birds during this process. I have way too many going into winter.
