Utah!

i read here that someone had tried the rooster collars. Can anyone tell me the successes and failures they have had with them?

I bought one Diane..I am waiting for my cockerel to start crowing. Will know then. I have heard mixed comments so far. It sounds like it's pretty much up to the rooster. Some are very loud, and don't mind the collar at all..and crow! Some are more quiet. Some won't crow as much. Some won't crow nearly as loud. I'm crossing my fingers that I get the best of both..that he won't want to crow as much, and it will be a real soft crow.

Well if it works, I might have to try to get a rooster, not sure on what breed I would would, and I would want one more to help protect the girls. Because I have problems with the Magpies. But I do have a hen, named Sheriff that does pretty good at chasing them off. She even attacks the cat if it jumps over the wrong fence.

YouCluckingAtMe, How close are you to Clinton? We should make arrangements to meet up ASAP and then I can go to SLC to meet Silly. If we meet today, she can have her eggs to start the easter hatchalong on time.

I'll PM you my phone number so you can text/call me.

Your awesome! I think he posted his number a few days ago, I guess I can go check. If it doesn't work out its okay, I can get eggs in a few weeks. I would love another BO, the one I have now is super sweet. But it could be because my daughter named her cupcake. lol

my decrowed Rooster still crows but not a long crow. I want to do a collar to see if that stops him completely. Who did you get yours from and can you post a picture.
