I remember when she hatched those! I was sooo tempted. Pretty Birds. I love Rocks, so it would be fun to have this color someday. Sounds like a big girl! Do you have a roo/are you giving her eggs to hatch?

Just took some pics today to show off some of my cute girls :)

I just love this lil partridge, she's such a sweetie :) 7 weeks old

And here's little Luna, that I got from Cynthia looking completely beautiful! She's around 9 weeks old now.

And of course Ellie looking more & more beautiful every week :) Her crest is crazy thick and so far she has the thickest leg/feet feathering of them all, even dixie right now. She's about 3 months old.

And this little odd ball is a blue partridge, i just got from Amanda a few days ago. I'm curious to see what she fluffs into :) She's probably around 8 ish weeks old.

I have several more babies, just wanted to share some of them :)

Hello all!

It's been a while since I've been on--busy with kids and summer vacations.

So the blue-laced red Wyandotte is a rooster and he needs to be re-homed. Anyone interested? We're a stealth coop and I don't want to endanger the other 4 so he needs to go quickly. Today was the first day he crowed and is approx 3 1/2-4 months old.

I'm at work and can't be on the internet much. My husband, Jason, is home and has pictures he can text to you. 801-781-0672

Thanks!

I am in shock. My FCBM hen is broody. I thought that was a breed that didn't go broody. The good new is I hatched two chicks yesterday. The last two I will get from Hercules. I'm going to put them under her tonight. One of my friends had a bad fox attack at her home in fairview. She has a very secure chicken area but hte wind blew the door open. I replaced several of her chickens to get my numbers down. it seems like I have a bunch of big chickens still but I'm so fond of all of them I can't get rid of any more. I have kept quite a few if hercules daughters as I hope they will go broody and hatch my Serama eggs. I do have one Serama chick that looks like its going to be a roo if anyone wants it let me know. take care everyone

Is the roo chick from OC Seramas? If so I would be interested, as long as it isn't black.

I was actually thinking of something like that do with with my daughter would be fun. I was thinking the white one and the blue look really good. Do you think they are show quality? I wouldnt know where to look for a county fair though around us.
