Utah!

For those of you with 5 gal bucket with bottom nipple waterers, how do you hang them? We've tried a few different shepherd style plant hooks and the bucket is just too heavy.

i hung my water bucket with a eye hook going into the ceiling of my coop with a chain and a clip going to the bucket. it makes it easy to adjust the height and also remove to clean when needed. granted not all coop set ups are the same but with mine being walk in it works out well

My niece warned me that if you hang them by the handle they warp out of shape and the lid wont stay on so.... I have a fully raftered run (1/2 covered with metal roof 1/2 covered with just welded wire) DH drilled 6 equal distance holes around the rim of the 5 gallon bucket and inserted s hooks then hung that from strong chain that goes up to a central u bolt that is hung from the rafter with chain 3 s hooks hook onto the u bolt. He also drilled a big hole in the lid with a cap so that I can just add water with the hose but it is easy enough to take down and clean and fill also.

I use the cup style waterers. I just drilled a hole and twisted them into a 5 gallon water jug. They are easy to clean, do not drip, and I can hang them or put them on a block all over the yard in this heat. I purchased 5 or 6 for about 2.50 a piece.

I am having the worst day ever. I noticed my new horse was running into things. I had the eye specialist out and she said he was blind in one eye and only had 30% vision in the other eye. I am just devastated. I am taking him back to his breeders today. He is only 9 years old. So Now I need to find a new horse. life just sucks for me right now

What!? That's terrible! I'm so sorry. You must have really bonded by now. Poor thing. Do you think the breeders knew about it?

wow! they had to have known.... I hate it when people are dishonest about things, or rather, do not disclose the problems they notice... :( it's just not fair, sorry.

Oh no! :( Sundance I am so, so sorry! So is there just no way at all that he's still workable? That's horrible. I would offer you our Arabian if he weren't so flighty. He is very sweet and we've been working with him to calm him down. We think he was abused as a colt. Some people, rrrrrg!
