I have 11 Australorps, and the 2 EE's that I put in hatched! I really didn't think that one of the EE's would. I went into lock down with 14 Australorp eggs, and the 2 EE's..only 3 Australorp eggs didn't make it. Not too bad. I forgot how the Australorp look like little baby crows in their faces, and into the teen times, then, they become that beautiful black hen. Babies!
OH, I have a pip in the BLRW's. They are due to hatch tomorrow. I am worried that I only have one pip now, because I had so many in my Austrlorps by now. Plus, I put them in a still air bator to hatch. Will be watching until afternoon, then take a peek in one of them if no others have pipped. They were really full in the egg, and ready to be in lock down for sure. 8 in there.
