Utah!

Come on share the love. The boss has even talked about selling the little white one.

My husband is loving on those baby goats. I thought he was going to get one on the spot when we were out there...he has been trying to talk himself out of it all week, he really likes the white one because it was rubbing her head on his leg. I think I will opt out of sharing these photos with him lol.
Very cute!

Poor Jess lost two of her chicks last night she saw them first thing this morning. Her day is not starting out well. So off to the store again might have to get a polish for fun.

So sad! Which ones did you lose? They were getting more marans in today---cuckoo---not sure which ones you had...they still had lots of polish last night at 6. They had black with white crests (lika Frisco) quite a few and lots of solid colors. They had frizzles too, lots....it took lots of self control not to snag a few of those.

Those baby goats are adorable. How hard are they to keep? Like how much does feed run in the winter? Do you have to buy feed in the spring/summer or is grazing enough?

How did you lose two chicks? Is Lisa's polish contagious? I have to admit I am finding it tempting.

Sign me up for a cream legbar pair when they're not insanely expensive.

Last night when I went to check on my dumb birds, ALL NINE WERE IN THE HEN HOUSE!! I didn't have to pick 7 of them up and put them inside. Only took a week or so.

Sphinx they Are not hard to keep. These are dwarf Nigerians so eat less if you just want a weed eaters a wether can browse most of the summer. We milk so we feed alfalfa all year to are girls and grass to the boys. Not sure why we lost the two we just got them yesterday. So stress and weak I think played a factor?

Phoenix--Dont know about the guarantee--I would sure ask. That was awfully fast and there might have been a sickness involved, I would think they would want to know....I hope the rest are ok. Hope mine hang in there, so far they seem robust and happy. I feel so bad for little Jess :(

Sphinx, those goats in person are a thing to behold, they jump and run around, like a little dog. His wife said they were getting 1/2 gallon a day milk from one if you milk them lots you get lots....and she made mozzarella cheese! Fun, huh! I was tempted too. Still thinking on it :) Congrats on your chick training! Good Job :thumbsup

and of course i can't say no.

I would definitely call- for them to die so quickly and the others are doing ok? I bet they'd replace them.

Do goats eat those awful thistle plants? We're trying to keep up with them, but they're spreading like crazy. For that alone, I'd want to get a goat.

They did replace them

What thistle plant are you talking about?
