Wow, only one chick Sasha? That's sad. I've seen that barn before (I think?) and have lusted after it.

Rebecca's stock is really nice. I bought 7 hatching eggs from her, and had five hatch. Four of them were cockerels. And, 4/5 were splash. I bought hatching eggs from our Corvidae, and all seven hatched. It's a little too soon to tell, but I think I got a couple blacks out of the group, and the rest are blues. So, between the two, I'll get the variety I want.

Clay is very cute Sasha, he looks like he is doing great! So sorry about your little girls. Hopefully this next hatch will come along much better.

Our 4th grandbaby is coming today. Mom is in the hospital as we speak, very exciting.

Oh, very exciting, Lisa!! I need to get a newborn fix soon. I did a newborn portrait session about a month ago, and I'm dying to play with another baby. I have an old friend from high school who had a baby just over a month ago, maybe she'll let me play with hers. I hope the birth goes well, and I hope you have a great hatch.

Got my new bator today. Hope this works as well as many are claiming for a small bator. Sounds like you have to do some different things with it until you see how it will work in your room you decide to put it in..no different from the others that way.

Oh my goodness, came home from the store to see this!! What a dolly! Oh my goodness, I have to tell you..I kind of went>>what??? That young man looks like one of our young men! lol.. Even my husband came in and when he saw the picture, he says..that looks like Dustin!

Congratulations Grandma!! You will have fun getting to snuggle! What a miracle these little newborns are!
If you get 7 chicks, after all of those 7's..that would be really really, well...fun! One of them would have to named Seven.

BluJems: Your baby goat is so sweet looking! Ive never seen a goat with that coloring! My husband always teases me, my 5 year life plan ends with "enough land for a goat" haha, true happiness

We just finished builing our coop last night- It looks so thrown together, I relied on the (non-exsistant) structual integrety of chicken wire a little bit too much. Whoops! At least it got the chickens out of my office. There's almost an inch of dust on every surface! Seven weeks was WAY too long to keep them inside the house. *live and learn*
