My guess is a giant size waterer, 1 bag chick starter, 1 bag layer feed......and a sprinkler.

They had a whole bunch that were a month or so old. There were cool barnyard mixes of marans, lav ameraucanas, then some pure GLW, buff orpingtons, speckled sussex, polish, and a couple sex links.

I also add you got a speckled sussex then. Unless you are pulling my leg. If they had month olds then you would have others to put it with so i guess 1 chick only.

I brought home some adult hens from my friends (the ones I have now), they laid the first day and then nothing for about a week... probably stress.... then they resumed laying like nothing happened=) Lisa, good luck on your hatch this weekend!! exciting!!

5 week old chicks are finally outside again today, they LOVE it, jumping and flying around, they crack me up, the 2 that are looking like roos are always sparring with each other, LOL!!

I'm loving these little Ameraucana chickies, they are getting dark in on their wing feathers, does that mean they are splash I heard someone say?? I just need to be patient and see how they turn out=)

After seeing all the BLRW's I'm wanting one of those now, too, such pretty birds!! Sheesh!! Going to have to build a massive coop at my mom's for all girls I can't keep at my house=)

Sasha, what darling pictures..love that bantam.. You will have to keep posting pictures of that one for sure!

I'm thinking one of the ones you say looks like a girl, is looking like a boy to me. # 4. I'm just going by the stubby wing. If it's a SLW, can't go by that nasal area yet. I also think your question chick is a boy. Sorry, if you're not wanting roos..but, I could be wrong..been there done that before!

The first two chicks were hatched a full day before the other 3, so they are a smidge behind. SLW you said looks like a roo, does look more like a roo to me today. The other chick I didn't have any idea about but you said you thought looks rooish, has feathers galore on her wings today that look girlie to me. I'll try to take more pictures tomorrow of those two and post them.
