Hattie-
I am tempted to buy the whole lot you want to sell, grow them a few weeks, so I could see what is there :) How many did you have left after what you have sold so far and are keeping? i can't remember. Sasha do you want any?

Hattie, will you pm me how many you want to sell and how much? I may take all of them you have left, after Sasha decides of course :) Sasha if I did take them all I and there turned out to be a chocolate, I would make sure you got it.....I am after a black, or a frizzle anything. I really want some of mycutekitties birds. I am willing to trade out some of my girls even if i have to. Her birds are crazy nice :) And my boy could show them.

Hattie- your sisters wheatens look like girls too. Hard to tell for sure with the lighting in the pic. Could there have been THAT many girls in that hatch? only 2 out of 11 were boys as far as I know so far. Pretty crazy!

Elk - So sorry you've been losing your flock to predators. I feel for you on that one. If it's not one critter, it's another. I still need to find the sign around my birds that says, "buffet" and burn it to the ground.

Birdman, and everyone else getting problems from this smoke - I really hope the fires get contained quickly! I haven't had problems with the smoke (yet) but I've mostly been lurking in the basement, too. I hate heat. But I know that when there's enough pollution in the air, it gives me problems, so I feel for you guys.

Gotta work on a nesting box today and see if my mom's BSL is at all interested in it. I'm so excited! Here I am, getting worked up over who will lay first - the GLW or the Welsummer. Totally slipped my mind that the BSL's are bred for good egg laying. D'oh!

My 86 year old mother will be having surgery on both her of her knees and i will be taking care of her for awhile. I'm so hoping this goes well for her.
I hope so too. My mom just had her fourth knee replacement, third time on this leg. She has had fits with the previous ones, obviously. Just wanted to pass on that her doctor put her in a "transitional rehab" which was wonderful! They did physical therapy on site twice a day, brought her meds on schedule, had quick contact with her doctor and an on site doctor that met with her each day. Her supplemental insurance paid for it for 8 weeks! She has better range of motion and strength already than she ever reached with her other surgeries. They had meals in a nice dining room, where patients could bring guests for lunch and dinner - she looked forward to it like a social hour. I was very impressed.

MoriahQuilts Please don't tell my mother yours had it done 4 times. I will have to ask about the "transitional rehab". We and she just want her to get better the fastest easiest way possible. Thank you for telling me about that. We will have to check into it. I have a sister that lives a block away from my mother she been taking her to the before surgery doctor visits so I will mention it to her for her to ask about it. Thanks again.

Yes, I do want a chocolate, but looking at the pics, I'm not sure there's one in there. If you want to buy the babies and grow them up a few weeks Lisa, and one turns out to be a chocolate, I will totally buy her off you. :)

Lisa, that is a cute video. Had that happen to me a couple of times..little stinks, were supposed to be girls, but I catch them before that happens now and sell them to those that want cockerals. I know now when I see an early big ol red comb and some wattles coming along too soon, then it's a little guy. I hope my Silkies and showgirl outside are girls. I know my blue splash is, not sure about my showgirl.
And, congrats! You are starting to do what we did for a while..get double the babies within weeks or months apart. You know what's going to happen, if it hasn't already, people are going to stop you when you have one of those cuties with you and say, oh, what a cute little girl/boy you have.

Smoke is gone this morning!

Sasha---talked to Hattie, somebody else has dibs on the remaining babies after we pick :) Hattie, can you pick me out 2 that look most likely to be frizzle, blackest preferably.......big round heads are more likely girls. whichever 2 you would pick if that is what you are looking for :) I would take up to 3 depending on how many your other buyer is looking for :D
