Utah!

Got another one, cyndi asked for a picture of the trap, so I thought I would go check it. Sure enough, there was a mouse.

The mouse at the top end, the big blob of PB in the middle. I want to make sure they can
smell it. They can! I had 5 in there this morning. I just put it in another spot. I bet I have another one or two or more by morning. Love this thing.

This is one of the doors they go into, there is another one at the other end. They step on it, it
goes down, and when they step off, it goes up, and they can't get out.
And oh yeah, it's only 12 dollars.

I live in West Valley. They will let me know when they are in, the kids that work there are in the same Vet class with my son. The one I talked to is the IFA on 21st South. I will let you know as soon as I hear

I love that trap! So glad it is working for you. Where can we find one?

I found this one at a feed store. Ranch/farm supply place. Bet Cal Ranch and IFA have them, I just didn't notice.

Cyndiloo, yes i got the eggs ordered, he is backordered a little so in a couple weeks they will come. He said he would throw in a few of the BBS marans :) Awesome, we will have chicken sisters! Lol!

Cynthia, the Wheatens came from Azriel, I got the eggs and some birds from her at chickenstock, she is from Montana and ships eggs.... the babies were all quite gorgeous, lots of blue wheatens....and mine have a very sweet temperament. Good source of hatching eggs :) Blujems has the blue wheaten roo from her (Azriel), and hens, so she also has some of the same eggs...she said they had just started laying again, so you could check with her too if you are wanting to buy hatching eggs when they start laying good :) pawtraitart also has wheatens, they are very nice :) i am hoping to get a couple blue wheatens from her hatches this spring or maybe some eggs. I think the Blue Wheatens are my favorite to look at, so pretty!

Just saw the question on the blue-est eggs---so far my bluest egg layers came from michelle (pawtraitart), they are more of a sky blue, pastel baby blue---and azriel's are blue but more of a turquoisey blue, some are really intense colored and very pretty. All my other ameraucanas so far lay more greenish than blue, it is disappointing so I would not recommend those.! I have some that will be getting new homes this spring due to their egg color being not what I was after. The leghorn/EE I have came from Moriahquilts...not sure if she bought hatching eggs or they are her birds...it is more greenish too...but I really like that hen because she lays so many and they are so big :p

Cynthia, that mousetrap is great! I wonder if they have a really, really big one I could use for coons. Hmmm

On blue eggs - my blue Ameraucana lays some lovely blue eggs, but they are a very light blue. When I hold them next to my green eggs, I can tell that they are blue. My mom thinks that the green eggs look bluish, too - I kind of wonder if I'm a tad colorblind to some shades of blue

They just look green to me.

I got to go on an egg hunt in the yard tonight!

I found two eggs hidden in the girls' favorite mound of branches, now that they can get in there again, and a predictable green egg by the back fence post. I love my girls.
