Just thought I would share...We had Quads born today. 3 Bucks and 1 Doe. Not the best pic but they don't hold still.

OH MY GOODNESS~~~~! Four? and they all made it! Hooray! So happy for you guys congratulations!! Are these Nigerian or Pygmy? I don't know how to tell the difference, but I was thinking they were lighter like your Nigerian mommy. I like the little hats again

I just hope after waiting sooooo long to get them-- that they arrive safe and sound, esp after what happened to Cynthia's shipment! Cross fingers for safe arrival!

These are nigerians. Jessi is very excited that she gets to drink goat milk soon. It has been a long time since we had fresh milk.

OMG this was the wrong thread for me today!!! I have been wanting houdans since around this time last year. Those chicks are too stinking cute :cry On top of that, I have been researching goats recently, just what I needed, cute baby goat picture. I want nigoras, so the Nigerians are half of the equation for me. Le sigh....come on spring!!!

Hey everyone! I'm a terrible correspondent! Everything has been quiet over here. My girls are loving the warmer weather. They'll actually come outside as long as I clear any snow from their run, but they're all snuggled up together back inside once the sun is down.

My money is on my little Martha, the black SFH, to give me my first egg because her comb and wattles are bigger and redder than anyone else's, but we'll see what happens. I know it will probably be a couple of weeks yet, but I'm getting excited!

I was going to post some pictures, but it's
not cooperating. I'll try it tomorrow.

Cynthia, those hatching eggs are sure beautiful. Good luck with that hatch.

It's entirely possible it was someone else's egg. I've never had a chicken eat an egg before. And when I've gotten the occasional brittle egg, I've found all the shell. There was zero shell, not even fragments. Who knows. Hopefully it's nothing.

Blujems, congrats on the kids! They are soooooo cute. I am trying really hard to resist the urge to buy a couple goats.

Lisa, when are your chicks supposed to arrive?

Sundancen, it seems like I've seen disneyland passes at Costco. Have you tried calling there to see if they have them? I need to take my kids. I took my older kids to Tokyo Disney about 8 years ago, but the littles have never been.
