I went out to feed and The Monster's silky hen was having trouble walking. Picked her up and her feet were total mud balls...Plus thanks to the others her back was covered too. I brought her in and gave her a warm shower, She really seemed to enjoy it. Then out to blow dry for awhile and trimmed her feet. Poor thing has missing toes and the ones she did have had long nails that made her toes curl.
I don't know why I didn't check when she got here. I try to keep up on that stuff.
Anyway she is now in my" aquarium Brooder" to finish drying...Then will probably stay inside with the Wheaten Ameraucana until we get the silky coop done.
She is so mellow and relaxed it surprises me....I am not used to that.
