DH says they are not pips the two ameracauna boys are wandering around looking for the girls. Poor guys. Anyone want some pretty wheaten ameracauna boys? They are getting close to butcher age. Would love to give them a home...

Good to see you Lilwanis! Thanks for the beautiful pair. I set their kennel right in an empty pen, with the door open to the kennel so they can coop up in the kennel tonight and come out and explore in the morning. They were quiet in the car right up until I pulled in and turned off the car then they started clucking--"our ride is over??!"

Fun to see all your chickens. Those Wheaten Am Boys are gorgeous, I wish I could have taken those too!

Remember your wet chick? I came home and in my grow out pen there were 7 chicks all cuddled in the corner, behind the three gallon waterer, sitting in the water tray. all soaked. Must have been water park day and we missed the memo....

Sphinx, the person I had been texting was my mom's friend Wendy from Idaho lol, she called me and yelled at me to quit bothering her. I told her what happened and she just sat there quiet. I think she thought I was crazy with all the chicken talk. Psshhhht Naw not me. I had been texting to see if you would be home, that I was on my way, that I was almost there, that the chick was so sweet, the cute noises it made in the car, how it liked being held, etc. Haha that was pretty funny when you messaged me and I realized it was not you I had been sending messages to. I am really glad you did, I may never have known what was going on lol what a dork Sorry I missed you! I left early to catch you before you went camping, but left TOO early as it turned out and missed you still before you got home

My son went with me to SLC and we made a quick pit stop at the chocolate store at the Gateway. Needless to say, I am wired up on chocolate right now, too bad the sun is down I would be out cleaning coops. Look like the house gets it this time instead. I am ridiculously hyper as it is, I feel an all-nighter coming on....lol Where did that vacuum go....

Got my Vacuuming done, then loved on these little chicks for a bit. Now on to dusting. I wanted to wash windows but it is hard to see what they look like in the dark...

My neighbor bought a Genesis 1588 off of Ebay. It's brand new and sometimes they offer different options with the inc (turners, candlers. etc).

I just got a text from Desert Springs - Three of the Icee eggs I gave her have pipped!!!

Yaaaay! I hope the other two hatch for her, as well. I am crazy excited to see what colors she got! And this is so awesome, because it means that I don't have a dud flock, lol. Congrats, Desert!

Oh my word, that comic made me giggle. So did Sphinx's rooster dream.

I still need to get stuff up of the turkeys. I will try and do that today. And........I think my Leghorn-EE/SBEL/whatever she is, is broody again. Are you kidding me?

Yay for hatching babies! My only SBEL that is of laying age, is broody right now too. Stinkers.
