I like it here, pretty much born and raised. Pageant is over yay! Too many people during that time.

I agree - check with Desert Springs on where to get a replacement. I would offer you one of mine, but I honestly don't know that any of them are SQ.

Mine too. She has had so little to drink in the last few days I do not know how she is surviving in that hot house all day, crazy girl! If she does not do better tomorrow I think I will put her in a wire cage in the run in the shade, at least she will be out of that hot henhouse and maybe then she will drink or eat if it is right next to her in the cage....don't know what else to do

Mine is starting to waste away... just heart breaking!!!

She's a GLW and has lost her chest and thigh weight. Makes me so sad!! I have been carting her around to the water and she has stopped eating totally. Doesn't want to even drink, so I make her. Won't even look at the scrambled eats, or anything I tempt her with. I have realized I'm in denial that she'll recover at this stage.

.... Elsinore!!! My ward was in Elsinore!! I moved here from Sevier, and had been in the Joseph ward.

Hmmm... down to 'business'. Sounds like you have a SQ chicken predicament on your hands. So sorry to hear of the passing so soon before the fair season. This heat has been horrible!!! My chickens are taking a beating however have only a brood hen that is failing

I'm just in the process of upgrading my flocks to SQ status. PM me and we can chat about what may work.
