Quick unrelated question: is your 1 yr old wheaten hen laying? The one I got from you stopped about a week after I got her from you. She seemed like she was moulting... She's incorporated we'll in the flock. Still skiddish a bit, but doing way good.

It is so beautiful Cynthia! I cannot tell yet at all. I am horrible at guessing the SG so would not even dare say. I am only a pro at getting boys, that is the only thing for sure! Haha! One thing though...I don't see that windswept backward look starting yet. That is good! Crossing fingers for ya! Don't you just love these? They really are such a good bird. My littles went out for a little exploration of the yard today. All they wanted to do was huddle around my leg and yell to be picked up, the world was just too much for them. So nice not to have to chase them around to put them up! I hold my hands out and they could not jump on fast enough. WIsh it would be a little warmer, that is part of the problem, they are just not taking to the cool air outside yet.

Yes, they are so sweet. So the wind swept back look is not a good thing. Will have to watch for that. When I went into their run a while ago, to put some little ones back into the nursery for the night, both this SG, and my cute little white/black cochin came running after me. Love it.
