I hatched out some marraduna Basque hens this spring and I have a late blooming rooster that I would like to find a new home for. If anyone is interested just send me a message. I'm in the Bluffdale area.

i also have some Bantam RIR chicks. 1 roo and 2 pullets, i think, but not sure of the last one. And some Bsl roosters. all the roosters are free. The 2 pullets are $3.00 each ore $5.00 for both.

i had to put down my first chicken today. it was the bsl known as ms b. the b stands for something that fit her well but she was just picking on everyone, she even went after me. she never was a good layer. she was just mean. she was a real pain. but she would not stop picking on the other flock members. i tried caging her off and a few other things and it did not work. the picking was not the normal pecking order stuff, i swear she wanted to kill off the whole flock. she was not worth keeping. and i was not going to pass my problem to someone else. so my dad did the deed for me. he knows a way that is fool prof, instant death with no pain. i just could not do it my self and plus he is very good at it and was happy to help. i did not eat her, i just could not do that. i know that is bad. plus she was not the best meaty bird. but anyway come early next year i will be looking for a cream legbar girl and a marans girl to add to the flock.
