I just had four EE's and Olive Eggers hatch. 

Can't wait to see!

Just set those eggs from Ace. Altogether now I have 43 in one bator, 15 in another starting to hatch from Sphinx. 58 eggs....what was I thinking? Needless to say If anyone wants chicks.....we will have SBEL 1st generation, SBEL 2nd generation for sale. I think the others are mostly spoken for but there will be just a couple for sale of the OE, FBCM, Icelandics, and some possible mixes from Ace. I hear cheeping and the eggs from Sphinx are not due until Monday. It seems like mine always hatch early, so I lowered the temp .5 this time around to see if that was the prob. I guess not? Any other ideas why they keep hatching early?

Silly--you know how you were worried about your eggs dipping to 95? My bator came unplugged and when I found out they were at 77 degrees, I was SO Worried! I think it was unplugged for 4 hours. I candled two days later and they were all still moving....so 95 should be no problem at all. I really don't have problems with hatches that have dipped pretty low, but I definitely have had problems with batches that spike to hot.

I just put 40 eggs in lock down yesterday, 36 of them came from Sphinx. I never got time to candle them so it will be very interesting what hatches.

Just checked our rabbits and they are both bucks.

We have decided to keep the both bucks but are looking for any dwarf breed does that are blue eyed whites. Prefer lion head, Holland loops, and Netherlands dwarfs. Does anyone have any leads?

What a long night! These chicks want to hatch one at a time, and hour or so apart all through the night. Yawn!!! So far 7/15 eggs doing well. I never candled after 7 days, so they all went to lockdown, I have no idea what to expect. I have 4 FBCM (one is almost out, the rest are out), 2 second generation OE, and WENDY, remember the two white eggs? Not sure if they were from the Polish or the Hamburg?(Speckled one?)---one hatched! And it looks like the FBCM, only clean legged and solid black legged no pink toe tips, so I am guessing she is from the Polish.

Hoping some more hatch/pip, they were not due til tomorrow night, so crossing fingers. I see no pips on the remaining 8 yet

Ace---the Wheaten/BR egg I just set from you, if it hatches....would be sexlinked, I just thought about that last night!

I just checked the other 8 eggs, 2 pipped internally and drowned, the other 6 were duds. so 7 chicks it is! Anybody want the chick that had the Polish mom and the FBCM dad? You are welcome to have it. I will likely keep the FBCM and 2 OE and hope there are some girls--2 already look really boyish though.

The WA would be sex linked?!? I candled my ices last night. 3 clear duds , 1 blood ring. I am now down to 4 icelandics... That was fast!
