Utah!

off topic. I had to buy a bigger car due to all the equipment I have to haul around, My walker, scooter oxygen and dog buggy have a hard time fitting in my HHR. I am going to be selling my HHR, If anyone is looking for a really good used car contact me.

Help! Desperate here......I just found out my daughter needs a ride to Lagoon next Saturday for her dance class. It was supposed to be my Chickenstock day. I am so bummed out, I have been excited to go all year, but I have to take my daughter because my son and Husband referee soccer all day :idunno

Sooooo I was supposed to pick up a few things, and am wondering if anyone from Logan is going and would be willing to bring me back my birds? (I would be glad to chip in $20 for gas....last year I hauled birds both going and coming back and I understand it is a noisy task and would be very willing to pay for the pain of that! ) I have a rooster (adult) from Kalalyn, and a dozen SBEL chicks from Birdguy for a friend, and a couple Wheaten marans chicks from Mesha. I have a kennel I could send for the rooster, and a couple chick boxes. Pleeeease let me know if anyone can help. If anyone is going from SLC, I could meet you on your way back, she dances at two then after that we will be right there along I-15 stopping at a few places then back to Logan.

I agree that should work perfectly :) Only thing i'd adjust soon just if you want to but probably not a huge deal is the overall size maybe to a bigger box and give them a bit more room to run and flap their wings, and so they arent stepping in their own poop :)
yeah, I'll probably be fixing that, it was too wide to fit better, so I'll have to ok it with the hubs to cut it down to size ;) didn't have much time yesterday while I was putting it together

if the weather is good I'll be going. But bad weather no go as my asthma can be tricky

Well, I went out and removed the barrier.... so far no squabbles, except for one pecking order peck. they even all snuggled down and relaxed for a bit.
The worst offender even stood next to the new chick, and looked at her for a good 30 seconds, and then walked off!

On another note, the front one (my Silver Laced Bantam Cochin Frizzle) does it look like it may be a roo? I thought I may have noticed a slight green sheen on his black wing feathers

Please tell me it's not a roo

I would be so super sad! My other Bantam Cochin (back one) I swear has already doubled the size of the front one, and I would have swore she was the younger of the two!

Turkeys are so much fun! I assume you got a poult, right? I loved mine. I had one hen that actually jumped up on my lap and was loving it. Got a picture somewhere...
yeah its is a poult.she will be the eastern wild turkey. Im also getting 2 white and 2 black Jersey giants which I have been looking for for 2 years. Im so excited lol. I just worry about having a turkey at my place since I live in a residential neighborhood. Aren't the turkeys much louder then the chickens? Ive got some really really noisy chickens and my neighbors dont seem to care. But that could be because I give them A LOT of eggs hahaha. Got to keep the peace some how:)
