Cynthia, what do you think of this lil sweetie? It's 3 weeks old and just look at those legs! And the crest/cheeks look decent dont you think? Trying to decide what I want to do with this lil one. If I want to keep, sell, or try and trade for a splash if I can find one.

How sweet!! My little one looks just like this only has a tiny bit more poof to the top of its head. I am hoping with all my heart it is a girl.

I am working on updating my coop and was just curious what you all might tell me is your favorite feature of your coop or any ideas you might have for improvement. I installed a droppings board under the roosts and am going to try plastic dishpans filled with straw to line the nesting boxes for easy clean out. I still am debating about what type of bedding I want to use. Any handy ideas you may want to share??

That would be awesome if it was a girl. Its a lil stinker though and chirps soo much more then my other babies and doesent like to be held. Makes me think BOY lol. It has the same head type as my older white chick that im still not sure about. The older one I am thinking might be boy but still holding onto that one till I know for sure. This one has the wider and fluffier build that, that one in question had as a baby. So im curious to see what both turn out to be. I have a third older white chick that I am like 98% sure is female. I knew it was a girl from the start though. Just her vibe was totally girly, and she was littler and more elegant to me lol. And it still looks very feminine and is getting a nice round poof on her head I'll take pics of her next when her pin feathers have finished opening on her head. She's looking so beautiful. I wish my other older white one had the same crest, but thats what makes me think possible roo on that one but I am still "hoping not" since I love the feathering on it. But this lil chick, i have no idea or feeling on yet Still not sure if I wanna watch it, or sell it and try to get my splash. Decisions, decisions lol.

Okay, can anyone have any wild guess what this chick could be that I got from RedIII. The breed thread thinks it could be a non bearded and non puffy cheek EE Rooster, but it has yellow legs, not slate or green legs. Or a Dark Cornish. Wish I don't believe that its either. Its really driving me nuts.

Tell, have you moved yet?  How are you getting fertile eggs...moved and now have some roos?   

Not yet. We move the first week of June. That's why I said I would in the end of June. I have an EE rooster yes. And I'm getting a SLW roo and 2 more hens.
