Utah!

Cynthia, what do you think of this lil sweetie? It's 3 weeks old and just look at those legs! And the crest/cheeks look decent dont you think? Trying to decide what I want to do with this lil one. If I want to keep, sell, or try and trade for a splash if I can find one.

Oh my goodness! This one is a keeper to watch for sure! When they have that kind of feathering on the legs, they end up with that whole fluffy bottom look ..love it..as much as the fluffy muff. If you can get both together..Perfect! :)

Okay, can anyone have any wild guess what this chick could be that I got from RedIII. The breed thread thinks it could be a non bearded and non puffy cheek EE Rooster, but it has yellow legs, not slate or green legs. Or a Dark Cornish. Wish I don't believe that its either. Its really driving me nuts.

Thats what I was thinking. I thought it had nice feathering already. I wish it had a bigger crest but maybe that'll appear later. I may hang onto it and watch it a while if you think its a good quality :) Wish it was a nice splash though since I have a few white already lol.

I actually just ordered some from ebay. I just know that hatching shipped eggs is harder so I thought I'd see if there are any here at home. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

I ordered some Cream Legbar eggs from Ebay and they got shipped today!! We need to do a hatch-a-long together :) I am more than a bit nervous about hatching chick eggs after reading this thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hatching-eggs-101
