Not sure with what though. With his favorite dessert? Dinner? Mow the lawn for a yr.? LOL..you may already do all of these things. But, I have to add, don't stop talking to your DH....about chickens! He'll get used to it. :D Mine has, and he even knows some of the chickens names, and he knows what a pip is, and a zip, and a quitter. He even knows what lock down is!

There have been times in this past yr. that I was trying to decide on which hen to put up for sale..I would hear...not Reba! Or, not Stella and Bella! He will now point out funny things that my chickens are doing. He has gotten into the love of chickens. :D He says he gets a kick out of me and my chickens. Love that man.
I talked my husband into letting me get frizzles and a silkie. He thinks they are so ugly but as long as they lay eggs and make me happy, he was good with 'whatever'. He has told me repeatedly that he thinks it's gross that the silkie has black skin.

It's funny that we can have layers but still get SO excited when new ones start laying. At least I do!

and about husbands, they sure can be reins... However, I did get my husband converted to our eggs and meat, he just doesn't get the idea of getting more breeds just cause I'm addicted, I mean I like different to try new breeds .

I'd love to join a hatch-a-long but there is no way I can convince him to let me start incubating. Spring chick season is already tough.

Here is my little fuzzy- two weeks old today!!! Don't you just get the vibe that it's a boy??

And a couple more cuties!!

I dunno.... it could be a boy... It strikes me as a boy, probably because of the picture, with how it looks like it's glaring... but also, it's holding itself more erect I think.

and those frizzles are cuties!
