Utah!

Looks like a splash! Lucky! The interesting this is, I think I
see chipmunk stripes? If so, could get a partridge pattern.
I think you are right on the other two.
I can tell that roo is beautiful when he has his feathers. Nice color.

Also, perfect toes on that blue baby!

Thanks Cynthia. The little roo is really neat looking. The picture doesn't really show the colors. The darker colors are a blue color and the red is almost an orange color. If the light one is a splash I'm going to be mad, It doesn't have a beard.

New to BYC and searching high and low for someone with Turken hatching eggs or chicks in Utah (preferably Northern UT but anywhere between here and Sandy/Draper area). My hubby and I bought eggs recently and the two Turken X Frizzled Ameraucana chicks turned out un-naked necked. Hubby is kinda sad and I'd love to get him Turken eggs or chicks as a late B-day or early Father's day present. Let me know if you've got any or know anyone who does!

Ace, yes, I'm still in the Roy area. I decided not to list my house until I get back from Europe. Plus, I have four listings, which is towards the top of my comfort level, so I'm hoping to sell one of those before I list my place.

Congrats on the first egg, Iluvmysilkies!

Cynthia, I'm really giggling about your post. That's funny.

RuralPearls, yeah, that silkie sure holds itself like a rooster, doesn't it? Beautiful bird though.

Welcome Jeseccentric!!! I'm so glad to see you!!! You are going to LOOOOOOOVE it here.

Welcome Noodlesoup! I'm in Northern Utah, but I specialize in FBCM and OE. I did see some NN at IFA a couple weeks ago.

I have a chick that's pipped in the incubator. Trying to decide if I have the energy to go set up the hatchcam.

My poor Lucky chick is doing really really well and growing fast.

Gosling is with 6 FBCM chicks and getting along wonderfully. She is just the sweetest baby. Today, I took her out and had 25 first graders pet her. She just sat calmly in my hand the entire time!! Meanwhile, all of the FBCM were putting up a HUGE racket, very concerned about their buddy who was missing. Such a change from Sunday, when they were alarmed at this enormous stranger in their presence.

don't know about eggs but i have seen them at IFA. they even had some banty's a couple months ago. din't someone on here buy one?

We didn't find anything other than Polish and mixed Bantams at our IFA. We found cages tagged for Turkens at an Ace Hardware (random) in Tremonton but when we asked about them they said they weren't getting any more in. Alas, I shall keep searching!

I found a bantam NN at IFA here in cedar city a couple of weeks ago...it was in the assorted bantam bin. It was also the first and only one they have ever gotten at this store(I asked the lady that takes care of/orders the chicks) needless to say I snatched it up! ;) lol

I have some Turken eggs on the way. :) Should get them tomorrow. But I am not North. I'm in Spanish Fork.

Sphinx where did you see NN's? We're in Logan area and I can't seem to find them anywhere! They didn't even have Turkens listed on the ordering sheet they gave us at IFA!

I am from Logan ...have some frizzled turkens in the bator....I got them from Sundancen, she is on here about every day, she has a sizzle rooster in with her NN Turken, and has fertile eggs. I am not selling mine, there are only four eggs so keeping what hatches to see what frizzles, but you could see if you can get eggs from her she is in Taylorsville.

Also, The IFA on 21st south in SLC has them frequently. You could call ahead to check if you are in that area? Seems like they have had them everytime I have been in there.
