So, I finally got my custom built chicken coop a few days ago and I am highly highly impressed with his work. He followed all my specifications, and made it better then I could have imagined and for the best price compared to other professionals. It turned out beautiful, and very well made. I just love it and I think my girls do to If anyone is looking to get a chicken coop built I highly recommend Lance Henderson from Eagle mountain. I found him through ksl. Just spreadin the word, he did an amazing job

I just went out to check the eggs that the broody's are sitting on and 8 out of 9 are good.They are ten days old so half way there. I was having a hard time looking under the Silkie's for eggs when it struck my that the two Silkies were in the nest box as well as my frizzle.I hope she just was loking for a nice place to sleep since she just started to lay after abanding her three chicks.I only have 4 eggs from her but was hoping for 7 to fill my incubator.

Missy had 4 pups today.  Thinking she's done, guess she could have another tonight.  That's strange, only 4 from a Golden R.  Oh well, they will be fat and sassy little things with all of that milk. 
  Two blacks..opposite sex..  two creams..opposite sex.  One of each in each color. 

Congratulations! I can't wait to see pics! I've been hinting to my hubby that we need a goldendoodle, they are such great dogs!

Is this her first litter? Sometimes they have small litters their fist time all though i had a German pointer/black lab mix that had 15 her fist and only litter.We had her fixed after she weened her pups.If i recall only 11 survived. We used her for hunting and fixed doges make better field dogs then unfixed. She lived a happy healthy life to the age of 18 yrs but I'm sure if we would have let her keep breeding her life would have been only have of that.

Need to re-home a few roosters. I have 1ea. 16 week old white and buff silkie roosters. 1, 24 week old bantam blue cochen rooster. And a 15 week old buff polish rooster. I'm in Syracuse.

Hi all, just joined BYC and wanted to introduce myself. I'm in Saratoga Springs. We bought our first house a year ago and got our first flock of 5 hens this March, and just last week we got our first two eggs!

hi Im in Taylorsville (SLC)I have some wonderful Breeda foul
that I hatched from shipped eggs this spring is there anybody in utah that has breda? they are such a fun and differant bred of chicken I have some extras if sombody is interested in this breed.they do not have any crowns and they have big noes holes. they have featherdhocks

I also have Faverelles. I Have extra roos if anyone needs one ill be sending to freezer camp soon (fav boys) if no takers

Welcome! Corvidae has Breda---or did last time she was on here. Have not heard from her for a very long time though, but they are the only ones I recall seeing on here. They really are pretty, nice boots! Pretty rooster as well!

He sure is pretty!

Thanks! I love him! He is super quiet. I haven't heard him crow yet, but I would be really surprised if he ended up being loud once he does. He has always been really quiet even as a chick. Are there some roos that just don't crow? I was surprised the other day when I saw him "getting busy" with one of my girls because he hasn't crowed yet...
