Diana, i got 2 eggs to hatch. Wish more would have hatched but like you said fertility was low because of the wrong season. I do want to try again with a broody. My little Banty RIR (Skittles) i got from you should be going broody again soon since she has been laying again for a few weeks. Thought i would share some pictures since our thread has been slow. I still cant get over how tiny they are. My girlfriend said she is keeping the incubator on just in case any more hatch.



This is a picture of a Blue Jay that thinks my Halloween decorations are food. I used sunflowers instead of corn stocks since i didn't grow any corn this year. The Jays moved into our neighborhood last summer and this year they hatched 3 eggs.

They are just precious. At present I am not getting any eggs. I am planning on leaving Nov 13 and returning April 1 I'm taking all the Seramas with me and boarding them at a Serama breeder in Mesa. i have five tiny babies as well that I am keeping. Keep sending me pictures please. Do the Jays stay all winter or do they lleave and return

Diana, the Jays do hang around all winter. There are a lot of pine trees in our neighbor hood. They hid the seeds like squirrels and eat them during the winter.

Haha awww, that comic is cute but sad. I have girls that have a forever home here, even after they go through henopause.
