Ha ha ha I need to spray a few chickens for digging up my carrots. Seriously, I've replanted 6 times. And I need to plant try again tomorrow. grrrrr

Speaking of gardening, since I know you love it, have you ever noticed different kind of potatoes sprouting at totally different rates? I planted two colors of potatoes, yukon gold and some red new potatoes. The yukon gold came up a month ago, and are thriving. I was about to replant the reds, but when I dug one hill, the were just sprouting! ha ha The lazies...

I actually don't have any experience with potatoes, but I believe it. I think I have observed some of my tomatoes fruiting at different times or rates, depending on the breed.

By chance, would anyone like a male Pekin duck? He's a little skittish, but very sweet and big and soft. DH's granddaughter likes to hold him when she comes over. I love him dearly, but I have two males and one female and need to rehome one of the boys

I really didn't mean to hide it. She just wasn't paying attention when I was loading the bator. I told her I will always be hatching something as long as I can find eggs. But I will sell most the chicks.

Well, I had my Cream Legbar chick die this morning. I've had such bad luck with those this year. First I got hatching eggs and only one cockerel hatched. Then I got robbed from Chase Hatchery. Now, I have no idea what happened to this one. I badly want one but don't want to take any more chances. Does anybody have an older, say 4-8 week pullet they would be willing to part with?

Uggg I'm so sorry. Sometimes it feels like it's one thing after another. I don't have any but I will keep my eye open.
