Utah!

@sideWing and anyone else who knows. I have been wondering if you could use the same incubator for both reptile and bird eggs? I am not able to go into hatching eggs yet, but soon, soon I will (may be 5-10 years down the road) I have just been wondering about it. Thanks!

One of my turkeys is gone and something stinks outside. I am very tired of my animals getting killed :( And the baby turkey I was trying to help died. This isn't a good morning.

i am so sorry red :( wish i could help.

Some good news. Our first eggs!! One regular and one fairy egg. Sexlinks 18 weeks old.

The boys have been taking care of them and they are so proud.
yay congrats! such a good feeling! and i am so glad your boys are helping, not enough people know how to produce food these days so i always get excited to see kids doing it!

Well, they are my 2 favorite animals, and I would think it would be really fun to breed both once I am old enough to live by myself. That is why I was wondering. It didn't help that I had a really confusing dream last night which made me start thinking about my question.

For the record, I also love lizards :) And frogs and newts and salamanders, even though those are amphibians.

i had a friend do it. basically if you get the temp and humidity right you can hatch about any fertile bird/reptile egg. of course you cant use a turner set up

My duck gave up brooding but the hen is still on the nest. I candled the seven eggs today. The flashlight wasn't as bright as I'd hoped it'd be, and I didn't get any pictures... but three were mostly dark inside except when the light was angled in the air cell... My guess is around 10 days for them, which would fit. The fourth was a little tiny bit lighter and when I held very very still I saw some motion! The last three were very clear, I think they're duds. I marked them and I'm going to look for a better light. Didn't see any veins in any of them but I did see some motion so that's good, right?
