I might have to try that one on a wart I have been having some trouble with. Did not know about that one… the list of claims is quite broad. They should keep this handy at the emergency room.

And I had some sticker shock today at IFA. BOSS is just under $28.00 for a 40 pound sack. Up five dollars from last time I purchased some. I am not so sure I need to add the small amount of Black Oil Sunflower Seeds that I do, to my scratch mix. Anyone know of a better price for a similar size bag?

We had a great hatch today! 6 out of 7 eggs set hatched! the one that didn't was a very early quitter that had already been pulled. Love great hatches! Now if I could even get even a single egg from the 8 birds I brought home last weekend... My husband hasn't seemed too happy about new additions my daughter and I brought home from the show. They are pretty noisy. :/

Marans from Lisa. I've been keeping my fingers crossed for a splash each time but no luck. We did get more blues this time though.

That's awesome they did so well! Hey the splash Marans just started laying and they look fertile, if you want to set a batch They would give a greater chance of splash, should only hatch splash and blue....but her egg is not quite as dark as the others. Still purdy though! it's been darkening up over the last few days though. She has only laid about ten but they are fertile already.

I lost my favorite hen today

DH went to the gas station for a minute and came back to find her hit in the road. Our yard is one acre and she's never that far up our property, especially not alone and in the road. I think either a dog or a person was back there messing with them. I'm so sick of losing my babies

ETA: my favorite turkey, Betty, is gone too. Found her feathers all over the yard. I found feathers from the duck too and thought all three were gone, but she is hiding under our box van. So at least I didn't lose all three. I wonder if someone's dog has been coming in the yard, because another of my turkeys started limping a few days ago. Gall!
